This class is for beginners looking to understand the basics of the long-tail cast on and a simple bind off, but we will also run through some of the options you have that may be helpful for specific projects – for example, sweaters or socks where you need a stretchy edge. Come take the next step in your knitting journey!

Learn the long-tail cast on and how to do a simple bind off to start and finish your knitting projects. No experience needed, though knowing how to do a knit stitch would be helpful!

Class is from 2:00 – 3:00pm and comes with knitting needles and enough yarn to learn and practice.

This is an in-person class with group instruction and 1-1 assistance located at the Susquehanna Purls corner in the Lower Level of the Fresh Market in Hershey, PA. The class size is limited to 4 to ensure we can help each individual progress in their new skill! Ages 12 and up.

After class you will have an opportunity to purchase yarn with a 10% discount!
